Produced in Nova Scotia on Canada's eastern seaboard at the Glenora distillery, this is the only single malt whisky made in Canada. This soft slightly peated, un-smoked, whisky is Canada's contribution to the world. There is no age statement on the bottle but it has probably spent 10 years in un-used barrels. When nosing one gets a hint of peat and no sharpness. This whisky is soft on the palate and the mouth-feel is more rounded than it's cousins across the pond. The finish is short and smooth. There is no edge anywhere in this whisky. |
