World Cup on the Drive!
How crazy is World Cup Soccer? Well let me tell you it's just plain crazy. We've been open for the 7am games daily and tomorrow is the last one and once again we'll be full for breakfast and soccer. Germany & Argentina square of for the last 7 am game and one of them will be eliminated in what will surely be one hell of a game. Today the Netherlands, or as i like to call them team Heineken, beat out Brazil in a wild game. In the other match Ghana gave up the gift of a lifetime; a penalty kick in the dying seconds of overtime only to lose in the shoot out, very sad for Africa's last nation.
The semi finals start on Tuesday at 11:30 with Uruguay playing the Netherlands, my mon on Holland. Wednesday sees the winners of tomorrow's games tee off, Thursday and Friday are off days with the bronze game on Saturday and the final 11:30 Sunday morn. We will be showing all of the games on our 8 hi-def flat screens and our ten foot hi-def projection screen. Just for fun we even put one on the patio - it'll be great for hockey.
For the final game we will be full, full, full so if you want to be part of the action be sure you get here early we open at 10am and if you're not here by 9am there won't be a seat available. We expect lots of; screaming, yelling, hoot'n & hollerin, so make sure you're part of it.
